Goal – create inclusive environment for members by defining roles and responsibilities and emphasis membership involvement.

Executive Committee Members

 

President

 

Bylaws - Coordinate and supervise total club program(s), preside at club and Executive Committee meetings.

 

 

Vice President

 

Bylaws - Assist President in carrying out the club responsibilities and shall serve in his/her absence. It is recommended that he/she serve as chairperson of one of the appointed working committees.

 

 

Treasurer – “Keep our money safe and our bills paid”

 

Bylaws - Will keep and prepare all club financial records and transactions, make necessary reports. It is suggested that the Treasurer also serve as chairperson of the Finance Committee.

 

This position serves basic financial services for the club to include deposit funds & Pay bills.  It also includes generating a quarterly and annual financial report for reporting to the club members (via newsletters) and leadership team.

 

Secretary (Officer) – “Keep us well documented”

 

Bylaws - Take minutes at the club and executive meetings, issue minutes and general notices and announcements.”

 

Document minutes of leadership/executive committee meetings and vote official counting.

 

Member Services Director (Appointment) – “Keep our existing members satisfied and enrollment growing”

 

This appointed position is being filled by Jennifer Berube.  We feel strongly that having someone focus on interaction with team members will increase membership approval and interest of new and newer members.  Anyone who has interest in assisting in this area of focus should contact Jennifer.

 


Road & Safety Director (Appointment) – “Keep our riders safe where the rubber hits the road”. 

 

The key items for this position are to plan safe routes, work with towns and organizations as needed to promote improvement in our infrastructure and designations.  This includes the development and finalization of the annual “Ride” schedule taking into account construction projects or lack there of.

 

It also includes the ongoing work dealing with the certification of pathways and work towards improved byways.  The commissioner will gather feedback from members on existing conditions or upcoming items that may interact with our ride schedule from a road perspective. 

 

Ride safety and road improvements go hand in hand so this position also includes the dynamic of riding safely and all that goes with that topic (rider reminders, training, memos).
